A warm welcome to all clubs and members interested in Pigeon Racing an interesting sport for all the family.
The club has two main racing seasons, March to Queens Birthday weekend June which is known as the young bird season. This is for birds bred the previous August through to approximately Christmas. We then have a quiet period in the months June and July and get birds ready for the breeding season. August to early December we race birds a year or more older.
We have Trophy races and a special race Queens birthday for a prize pool of usually around $2000 plus other opportunities to invest.
Races are North as far as Kaitaia and South as far as Stewart Island
